| Drivers licence |

All drivers should have held a valid driver's
license for five years or longer. A current acceptable
overseas, Australian or International license is required
from all intending drivers. At the Manager's discretion,
a holder of a license for less than five years is acceptable
but may incur a higher insurance excess. Minimum age 21
years. |
| Rental duration |
| |
24 hours from time of pick up. Additional hours are
costed at 1/5 of the daily rate up to five hours and a
full day thereafter. Payment is to be made at commencement
of hire by either cash, travelers' cheques or credit card. |
| Tax |
| |
Government Goods and Service Tax included in all daily
hire prices. |
| Insurance excess |
| |
Is between $750-$1500 for drivers over 21 years |
| Bond |
| |
A bond is required for all hires. You may be asked to
sign a separate security bond in the form of a Credit
Card imprint, or give a cash deposit. This bond is held
by Pegasus Rental Cars and is not banked. It is our guarantee
that the vehicle will be returned on time and in the condition
that it was hired. |
| Petrol |
| |
All vehicles will be supplied full of fuel and returned
to our site the same. |
| Early returns |
| |
There is no refund for the early return of your rental
vehicle. It's best to hire the vehicle for the least amount
of time anticipated and extend the rental if necessary,
which does not incur a penalty. But remember that you
can receive a discounted rate for longer rentals. |
| Zone use |
| |
All vehicles are restricted to bitumen roads only. |
| Child and baby seats
|
| |
Child seats are now compulsory on Australian roads (under
5) and may be hired from our branches. Please order at
time of reservation stating age of child so correct size
may be booked. |
| Cancellations - refund
